The 37-year-old right-handed batter from Rajkot hammered 19 centuries and 35 fifties in the five-day format of the game. Pujara played a big role in India’s many famous wins in the last decade, and for his contributions to India’s back-to-back series wins in Australia, he will always be remembered by the cricket team. Pujara, who announced his retirement from all forms of the game on August 24, 2025, finished as the eighth leading run-getter for Team India in Tests.
