South Africa’s excellent bowling and Australia’s out-of-form batting combined to script an 84-run win for the Proteas in the second ODI at the Great Barrier Reef Arena, Mackay. The Aiden Markram-led side put up 277 in the first innings, led by Matthew Breetzke’s 88. In reply, the Aussies were shot down for only 193, courtesy of Lungi Ngidi’s stunning five-wicket haul, overcoming Josh Inglis’ 87 (74).
