A 15-member India squad was announced on Tuesday for the three-match Australia One-Day International series, which will precede the home Women’s ODI World Cup 2025.
All-rounder Amanjot Kaur wasn’t named in the squad as she recovers from an injury and eyes her return at the World Cup. Sayali Satghare, who is amongst the standbys for the World Cup squad, has been included for the matches against Australia.
“She’s one of the important players, she’s at Centre of Excellence, working on a few small niggles. We’ve rested her for the Australia series so that she can fully be available for the World Cup,” skipper Harmanpreet Kaur said on Amanjot’s absence in the Australia series squad.
