The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Monday announced the prize money for the upcoming Women’s World Cup, to be played in India and Sri Lanka. Notably, the amount announced by the governing body eclipses that at the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023, which had a total prize money of $10 million.

In the official statement, the ICC confirmed that the total prize money to be given at the marquee tournament will be $13.88 million (US Dollars) – twice the prize money won by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru after clinching their maiden IPL title earlier this year.
