Team India’s star wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant is out of action after a leg fracture during the England Test series. Fans are eagerly waiting to know when he’ll return to the field.

Pant got injured in Manchester when Chris Woakes’ fiery yorker struck his leg. Despite the pain, he came out to bat and scored crucial runs to save the match.

Pant shared a photo of his injured foot on Instagram and wrote, “Just wanna tell you one thing which I understand is doesn’t matter how much pain you have endured in past if you get hurt again it pains the same that’s for sure .” He also pointed out how important it is to remain positive and self motivated to overcome any obstacle in life.

Before being sidelined, Pant was in top form—scoring two centuries at Leeds, three half-centuries, and a gutsy 54 with a broken leg. He finished the series with 479 runs in 7 innings.

Good news for fans: Pant shared a video removing his plaster and safety boot, thanking them playfully. He was also seen relaxing at a beach—hinting at steady progress.

Pant will miss the Asia Cup (Sept 9–28, UAE) and is doubtful for the West Indies Tests in October. India kicks off its Asia Cup campaign vs UAE on Sept 10, faces Pakistan on Sept 14, and Oman on Sept 19. (All photos: Instagram/@rishabpant)
