The 2025 edition of the Asia Cup will feature a total of eight teams, and the matches will be played in the T20I format from September 9 to 28 in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the world No. 1 T20I team in the premier continental event, where they will also start as favourites to win the title. India is the most successful team in the Asia Cup’s history with eight titles, but the last time when the tournament was played in T20I format, India even failed to qualify for the final. The Men in Blue will look to come up with a big show this time around and win the title for the record-extending ninth time.
