Rohit last played an ODI match for Team India on March 9, 2025, against New Zealand in Dubai and won the POTM award in that fixture.
India’s ODI captain Rohit Sharma took to Instagram on Thursday, September 11, to share a video post in which he can be seen batting in the nets. In the clip, which is now going viral on the internet, Rohit said that it feels really good and he is here again.
Rohit, who has been training for quite some time with former India assistant coach Abhishek Nayar, last played for Men in Blue in March 2023.
His latest post came ahead of Indian team selection for the upcoming three-match series against Australia. Team India is scheduled to travel to Australia next month to take part in a three-match ODI and five-match T20I series.
Since Rohit retired from T20Is last year, he is only in contention to be picked for the 50-over matches.
