Smriti Mandhana entered her name in the history books on Saturday, September 20, by scoring the fastest century in the 50-over format of the game for Team India. She broke Virat Kohli’s record by reaching the 100-run mark in just 50 balls for the Indian women’s cricket team against Australia at Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. She faced a total of 63 balls during her stay at the crease in the 413-run chase and, with the help of 17 fours and 5 sixes, scored 125 runs.
