Indian players refused to shake hands with the Pakistani players after India won the Asia Cup Super Fours match between the teams by six wickets in Dubai on Sunday.
Hardik Pandya and Tilak Varma were at the crease when India hit the winning runs and the duo immediately walked off the field.
Earlier at the toss, India captain Suryakumar Yadav too avoided a handshake with Pakistan captain Salman Ali Agha.
This is the second time this Asia Cup when India avoided the customary handshakes with Pakistan. It had beaten the side by seven wickets in the group stage, and its batters Suryakumar Yadav and Shivam Dube had walked off the field without greeting the Pakistani players.
Pakistan had threatened to boycott the Asia Cup and demanded action against the match referee of that match, Andy Pycroft, but eventually continued after Pycroft issed an apology.
