As part of its investigation into the money laundering case linked to an online betting app named 1xBet, several high-profile names have been summoned by the Enforcement Directorate for questioning. So far as many as four former India cricketers have been quizzed by the agency. Besides these cricketers, several other sportspersons, movie actors, online influencers and celebrities are also expected to be questioned in the coming days. Here’s a look at the four ex-India cricketers who have been questioned so far.

As per reports, ED wants to know from the celebrities how they were contacted by the said betting company seeking their endorsement, the nodal person(s) for contact in India, the mode of payment (cash through hawala or banking channel) and place of the payment (in India or abroad) among others.
