In the match taking place between India U19 and Australia U19 at Ian Healy Oval in Brisbane, Draper needed just 65 balls to reach the 100-run mark. The right-handed batter has hammered 8 fours and 5 sixes so far. He completed his century by taking a single on the fourth ball of the 40th over of the run chase bowled by Kishan Kumar.

Before Draper, the record of scoring the fastest century in youth ODIs for Australia (as per Wisden) was in the name of Harry Dixon. Dixon needed 104 balls against England in Brisbane on February 13, 2023, to reach the 100-run mark.

The record for scoring the fastest century in youth ODIs is in the name of Suryavanshi. The 14-year-old Indian batter needed just 52 balls against England in Worcester on June 5, 2025, to reach the 100-run mark.
