The ongoing match between India and Bangladesh is Mustafizur’s 118th T20I, and he now has 150 wickets to his name.
Left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman entered his name in the history books on Wednesday, September 24, by becoming the highest wicket-taker in T20Is for Bangladesh. Rahman needed one wicket in the ongoing Asia Cup 2025 Super 4s match between India and Bangladesh in Dubai to break Shakib Al Hasan’s record of 149 wickets, and he achieved the objective by dismissing India captain Suryakumar Yadav.
Surya was caught behind by Bangladesh’s stand-in captain Jaker Ali on the last ball of the 12th over.
