Sri Lankan opener Pathum Nissanka entered his name in the history books on Friday (September 28) by becoming the highest run-getter in Asia Cup T20Is. The right-handed batter broke Virat Kohli’s record. Kohli amassed a total of 429 runs in 10 matches of Asia Cup T20Is for India, whereas Nissanka, after scoring 107 runs from 58 balls on Friday against India, now has 434 runs to his credit in 12 Asia Cup T20I matches.
