Abhshek Sharma was awarded the ‘Player of the Tournament’ for Asia Cup 2025, after the final between India and Pakistan in Dubai on Sunday.
The southpaw racked up a remarkable 314 runs in seven innings at a strike rate of 200 and an average of 44.85. This included a run of three consecutive fifties during the Super Fours stage.
Though he had an unsuccessful outing in the final, scoring just five before falling to Faheem Ashraf, he was also critical to India’s last two wins against Pakistan, with scores of 34 and 74.
