India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2025 Final Match Playing 11, Full Squad: India will be praying that Hardik Pandya’s hamstring issues isn’t serious and he can take part in the Asia Cup final against Pakistan on Sunday. This will be the third time that the two arch-rivals will be meeting in this edition of the Asia Cup with the Men in Blue winning both the previous two matches– in the group stage as well as in the Super 4 stage.
India are expected to line up with their strongest XI with Jasprit Bumrah and Shivam Dube coming back into the team after they were rested for the final match of the Super 4s against Sri Lanka. But the status of Pandya is still up in the air with bowling coach Morne Morkel saying that his injury will be assessed on Saturday. Hardik had gone off the field with a hamstring issue in the match against Sri Lanka on Friday and did not return with India’s bowling suffering for it as Sri Lanka batters took them to the cleaners. So India will be keeping their fingers crossed on Pandya’s availability.
Pakistan, meanwhile, are unlikely to change their winning formation after defending a modest 135-run target against Bangladesh. Saim Ayub hasn’t had the best of tournament with the bat scoring 4 ducks in 6 matches but he has been a bright spot in their bowling attack which might work in his favour.
