Tilak Varma’s unbeaten 69 anchored India’s thrilling five-wicket win over Pakistan in the Asia Cup final, sealing their ninth title. Chasing 147, India recovered from 20/3 as Tilak forged key stands with Sanju Samson and Shivam Dube before Rinku Singh struck the winning boundary.

Earlier, Pakistan posted 146 after a promising 84-run opening stand between Sahibzada Farhan (57) and Fakhar Zaman (46). However, the middle order collapsed spectacularly once Kuldeep Yadav (4/30) struck, ably supported by Varun Chakravarthy and Axar Patel. From 113 for one, Pakistan lost nine wickets for just 33 runs. Jasprit Bumrah added drama by cleaning up Rauf with a yorker before mimicking the pacer’s controversial “airplane crash” gesture from an earlier game.
