KL Rahul continued his fine run in Test cricket in 2025 with another century – 11th of his career. The opening batter scored an exact 100 during the first Test between India and West Indies at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Friday morning. The 33-year-old has taken his tally to 3889 runs from 112 innings. He has also hit 19 half-centuries. It was also his first Test century at home after 9 years. The veteran batter played a key role in India’s 2-2 draw in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy in England. With his latest three-figure, he surpassed an India legend for a century record at home.

While this was KL Rahul’s 11th century in Test cricket, it was just the second time that he has reached three figures in the format when playing at home. During the course of his innings, KL Rahul also took over Ben Duckett in the list of highest run-getters in Tests by an opener in 2025. He has now 649 runs from 13 innings at an average of 49.92.
