On February 5, the Bangladesh Cricket Board announced the schedule for their new tournament, ODOMMO. This tournament was created after Bangladesh withdrew from the 2026 ICC T20 World Cup due to ongoing issues with the BCCI.

The tournament spans five days from February 5 to February 9 and all matches will take place at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka under floodlights.

Three teams will compete: Dhumkety XI, Durbar XI, and Duronto XI. There will be no semifinals; instead, the tournament will follow a round-robin format, with the top two teams advancing to the final.

ODOMMO schedule:

Dhumketu XI vs Durbar XI February 6 Friday 5:30 PM
Durbar XI vs Duronto XI February 7 Saturday 5:30 PM

Prize money for the league:

The BCB has set aside Tk 2.5 crore (approximately INR 1.87 crore) for prize money and player payments. This tournament will also introduce the Impact Player rule in Bangladesh’s domestic cricket, mirroring changes seen in major T20 leagues.

Ticket price and pre-match norms:

Each match day will feature cultural programs for two hours, starting at 4 PM. Ticket prices are affordable, beginning at 100 taka for the Eastern gallery. Tickets for the Northern and Southern galleries are priced at 200 taka, while the Club House and Grand Stand tickets cost 500 taka and 1,000 taka, respectively.
