The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has released the Annual Player Contracts for the Senior Men’s and Women’s Indian teams for the 2025-26 season, which spans from October 1, 2025, to September 30, 2026.
A total of 30 male and 21 female cricketers have been named in the annual retainership list. Veteran players Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have been moved from Grade A+ to Grade B, as they are currently participating in only one format, ODIs, for the Indian team.
On the other hand, Indian Test and ODI captain Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, and all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja have been assigned to Grade A. From the women’s team, Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Jemimah Rodrigues, and Deepti Sharma are also in Grade A.
