The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 kicked off dramatically at the Sinhalese Sports Club (SSC) in Colombo on Monday, February 09. In a crucial Group B match, Zimbabwe’s fast bowler Blessing Muzarabani showcased his skills, dismantling Oman’s top order early in the game. After Zimbabwe’s captain Sikandar Raza won the toss and chose to field, his bowlers quickly proved his decision right under the lights.

Blessing Muzarabani bowls out Jatinder Singh in T20 World Cup 2026

Jatinder Singh aimed for a steady beginning but faced a different challenge from Muzarabani. With his typical high-arm action, the Zimbabwean quick bowled a delivery that will be remembered throughout the tournament.

Muzarabani delivered a fuller ball, angled into the hitting area. It sharply nipped back, slipping through the gap between Jatinder’s bat and pad. The Oman captain, unsure and slightly late on his front-foot shot, could only watch as the ball sent the middle stump flying. Jatinder was out for 5 runs off 5 balls, leaving Oman in a tough spot at 7/1 and setting a challenging tone for the innings.
