Zimbabwe easily defeated Oman in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. They chased down a target of 104 runs in just 13.3 overs, winning by eight wickets. Brian Bennett scored 48 not out off 36 balls, while Tadiwanashe Marumani contributed 21 off 11 balls, and Brendan Taylor added 31 not out off 30 balls.
Earlier, Zimbabwe’s bowlers dominated, bowling Oman out for 103 runs in 19.5 overs. The Omani top order struggled, with only three players reaching double digits.
Vinayak Shukla scored 28 runs, Sufyan Mehmood made 25, and Nadeem Khan contributed 20, helping the team surpass 100 runs. Zimbabwe’s Richard Ngarava, Blessing Muzarabani, and Brad Evans each took three wickets.
