Farhan’s 73 and Late Shadab Push Pakistan to 190 vs USA

Pakistan created a tough target of 190 for 9 in their 20 overs, combining solid batting from the top order with some aggressive finishing. Sahibzada Farhan was the standout performer, scoring 73 runs off 41 balls, including six fours and five sixes. His innings helped build momentum during the middle overs for Pakistan.

Babar Azam also made a significant contribution, scoring 46 runs off 32 balls while effectively rotating the strike and hitting boundaries when needed.

Farhan and Babar steadied the innings after a few early wickets, keeping Pakistan in control during the middle phase. However, after their partnership ended, Pakistan lost wickets regularly, which slightly slowed their scoring.

The lower middle order struggled to capitalize on their starts, but Shadab Khan’s explosive 30 runs off just 12 balls provided a crucial boost at the end.

His aggressive play, which included four boundaries and a six, helped raise the total to 190. In the final overs, Shaheen Afridi added valuable runs, remaining not out on 9 off 4 balls, ensuring Pakistan finished their innings on a strong note.

On the bowling front, Shadley van Schalkwyk stood out, taking multiple wickets and applying pressure at key moments. Despite the loss of wickets, Pakistan’s overall batting performance, especially the contributions from the top order and late hitters, allowed them to set a competitive total as they moved into the next phase of the match.
