The Netherlands started strong against Namibia, securing a 7-wicket victory in their second match of the ICC T20 World Cup 2026 at Arun Jaitley Stadium. Set to chase 157 runs on a batting-friendly pitch, the Dutch reached their target in 18 overs. Bas de Leede led the charge with an unbeaten 72 runs off 48 balls, featuring 5 fours and 4 sixes. Colin Ackermann added 32 runs off 28 balls, while Michael Levitt contributed 28 runs off 15 balls.

Bernard Scholtz was Namibia’s standout bowler, taking one wicket and allowing 27 runs in 4 overs.

Earlier, Namibia finished their 20 overs at 156/8, with Jan Nicol Loftie-Eaton scoring 42 runs and Jan Frylinck making 32 runs. For the Netherlands, Bas de Leede and Logan van Beek each took two wickets.
