In a surprising moment during the match against Pakistan at the Sinhalese Sports Club in Colombo on Tuesday, February 10, Milind Kumar from the USA made a remarkable catch to dismiss Babar Azam.
In the 12th match of the 2026 T20 World Cup, Babar was close to scoring a half-century after Saim Ayub and Salman Ali Agha were out in the last over of the powerplay. The former Pakistan captain tried to hit Mohammad Mohsin for a big six but mishit the ball.
Fielding at long-on, Milind had to move quickly as the ball was dropping fast. The 34-year-old all-rounder managed to dive and catch the ball just above the ground, rolling to avoid injury. This well-timed catch ended Babar’s innings at 46 runs off 32 balls, including four fours and one six.
