The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 continued at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Thursday, February 12. In Group A’s 18th match, India faced off against Namibia. India was a strong favorite, but Namibia created a memorable moment by dismissing Indian captain and T20 star, Suryakumar Yadav.

Zane Green’s Impressive Stumping of Suryakumar Yadav in T20 World Cup 2026

Bernard Scholtz bowled against the dangerous Suryakumar.

In the 10.1 over, the action began. Scholtz sent a slow, flighted ball around off-stump, making it drift away. Suryakumar, looking to take control, advanced down the track to hit over the covers. However, Scholtz outsmarted him. The ball sped past the bat, but the real excitement was behind the stumps.

Zane Green, Namibia’s wicketkeeper, showcased incredible reflexes. Predicting the spin, Green kept his hands low near the stumps and quickly removed the bails after catching the ball. Suryakumar tried to make it back to the crease but realized Green had outplayed him. He left the field after scoring 12 runs off 13 balls, putting India at 120/3 and giving Namibia a significant morale boost.
