The Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) has announced a significant white-ball series against Sri Lanka in the United Arab Emirates from March 13 to March 25. This marks the first time Afghanistan will host Sri Lanka for a bilateral series.
The tour includes three T20 Internationals and three One-Day Internationals, occurring right after the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, making it crucial for both teams as they prepare for upcoming tournaments.
This six-match series aims to strengthen cricketing ties between the two nations, providing both teams a chance to evaluate their players in white-ball formats.
The T20I matches will be held at Sharjah, while the ODIs will take place in Dubai.
All three T20I matches will occur at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, known for its exciting contests.
After the T20Is, the teams will shift to Dubai International Cricket Stadium for the ODI matches. Dubai generally offers balanced conditions, allowing both batsmen and bowlers to showcase their skills effectively.
