The Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will play their first away game of the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) in Assam against the Rajasthan Royals at Barsapara Cricket Stadium on Friday, April 10.

RCB, the defending champions, have secured four points from their first two matches and remain undefeated so far. Their latest match featured a significant 43-run victory over the Chennai Super Kings in Bengaluru. Tim David was a standout performer, scoring an impressive 70 runs off 25 balls, including eight sixes.

RCB showcased solid batting performances. Apart from David, captain Rajat Patidar scored 48 not out from just 19 balls, and Devdutt Padikkal achieved another half-century.

In the bowling department, Bhuvneshwar Kumar claimed three wickets, marking over 200 wickets in his IPL career. Jacob Duffy, Abhinandan Singh, and Krunal Pandya each took two wickets.

With a strong and undefeated lineup, RCB likely won’t make major changes for their matchup against RR. The same team that contributed to their two victories should play in Guwahati unless there are injuries.

Here is RCB’s predicted XI vs RR, Match 16, IPL 2026:

Top Order: Virat Kohli, Phil Salt, Devdutt Padikkal
