The 2025 edition of the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup will be played between eight teams from September 30 to November 2 across four venues in India and one in Sri Lanka. 7-time champions and world No. 1 ODI team Australia will enter the tournament as favourites to win the title, whereas co-hosts India would aim to end the long wait for their first-ever ICC title in front of home fans.

There are no groups at the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025. All teams will play seven matches each during the group stage, and the top four sides will qualify for the semifinals.

The highest-ranked team during the group stage will play the fourth-ranked team, while the second-ranked and third-ranked sides will face off, with the two winners then moving through to the title decider on November 2.
