Cameron Green was visibly frustrated after getting out to Usman Tariq’s bowling in the second T20I of the three-match series against Pakistan on January 31 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. Green had been the standout performer for Australia, scoring 35 runs off 20 balls, before his dismissal in the 11th over of the innings.
On the last ball of the 11th over, Tariq paused before delivering a fuller ball with a low release. Green aimed to hit over mid-off but ended up edging the ball. Shadab Khan, positioned at backward point, took an easy catch, ending Green’s innings.
As he left the field, Green looked unhappy about his dismissal and mimicked Tariq’s bowling action. He continued to showcase the delivery to his teammates near the dugout, clearly frustrated by how he had been outsmarted.
