The ICC has announced the match officials for the semi-finals of the ICC U19 Men’s Cricket World Cup 2026. With four promising teams vying for the title, the Emirates ICC International Panels of Umpires and Referees will officiate these important matches in Zimbabwe.

This tournament has highlighted emerging cricket talent, and as the intensity grows, the ICC has chosen both experienced officials and new talents to maintain high standards of officiating. The focus is on ensuring accurate decisions as the cricket world turns its attention to Bulawayo and Harare.

Semi-final fixtures: Unbeaten teams face off

The first semi-final will take place on February 3, 2026, at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo, featuring a clash between Australia and England. Both teams are unbeaten, making it a highly anticipated match. Australia, led by Nitesh Samuel and Oliver Peake, has been particularly effective. England, driven by Ben Mayes, is considered a strong contender.

The second semi-final will be held at Harare Sports Club on February 4, 2026, with India taking on Afghanistan. India secured their spot after defeating Pakistan, continuing their unbeaten streak under Ayush Mhatre. Afghanistan has shown resilience, overcoming challenges from South Africa and the West Indies, making them a serious threat.
