Chinelle Henry showcased remarkable power hitting in the 19th over of the 2026 WPL final, scoring 24 runs off Nadine de Klerk. This performance placed Delhi Capitals Women (DC) in a strong position while batting first.
De Klerk, a top all-rounder in women’s Cricket, entered during a crucial moment. Although DC was doing well, they needed to boost their scoring, and Henry’s batting was both aggressive and impressive.
Henry started with strong footwork and bold intent, sending the ball across the ground. This over quickly became a series of boundaries and sixes, shifting the momentum firmly in favor of Delhi Capitals.
This pivotal moment came in the penultimate over of DC’s innings. Along with Laura Wolvaardt, Henry scored 15 runs in the final over as well, elevating their team total to 203.
