Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma have been placed in Grade B contracts in the retainer list issued by the BCCI for the 2025-26 season.
The A+ category has been removed, and Jasprit Bumrah, Shubman Gill, and Ravindra Jadeja are now in Grade A.
The central contracts include 30 players split into three categories. Five players from the last season’s list have been dropped, with Sai Sudharsan being the only new addition.
Grade B consists of 11 players, including Hardik Pandya, Rishabh Pant, KL Rahul, Washington Sundar, Shreyas Iyer, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Kuldeep Yadav, and Suryakumar Yadav. Mohammed Shami has lost his contract status.
Ishan Kishan, Sarfaraz Khan, Rajat Patidar, and Mukesh Kumar were not included in the contracts.
