ICC Chief Executive Sanjog Gupta announced that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) will not face financial penalties or suspension after it declined to send its men’s cricket team to India for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026. As a result, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has invited Scotland to take their place in the tournament, which will be hosted by India and Sri Lanka.
