Pakistan is coming into this match with strong competitiveness, especially since they are familiar with the local conditions. Their chances of troubling India are greater now than in the past. On these Colombo pitches, India’s batting will face a real test,” Karthik explained.
“India’s performance against spin on slower pitches is not as strong as it is on typical batting-friendly surfaces. The statistics show a clear difference. This is one area they need to approach with caution,” he added.
Although historical records may not favor Pakistan, their play in the T20 World Cup 2026 indicates they are finding their form at the right time.
