Shahid Afridi hasn’t been able to beat India himself, and now he’s offering advice to the current Pakistan team — that’s what bowler Shadab Khan is suggesting.
Recently, the Indian team easily defeated Pakistan in an ICC Men’s T20 World Cup match. Social media was filled with reactions, and former cricketer Shahid Afridi was quick to criticize. He mentioned that players like Shaheen Afridi, Babar Azam, and Shadab Khan should be removed from the team.
Shadab responded directly, stating, “Our former players can share their views. They have played well for Pakistan. However, they have also never beaten India in a World Cup. The only time we defeated India was in 2021. In World Cup history, we’ve only done it once. While he is a legend, he didn’t have significant success against India in World Cups. Criticism is beyond our control. Everyone has the right to their opinion and can express it freely.”
