Only Wasim Ali managed to score well for Oman, making 32 runs off 33 balls before the rest fell quickly to the Australian attack.

Chasing a modest total, Australian openers Travis Head and Mitchell Marsh formed a solid partnership of 93 runs in just 8.1 overs, making the game one-sided. Marsh finished on 64 not out, while Head scored 32 before wicketkeeper Josh Inglis wrapped up the innings with a quick 12 runs.
Shakeel Ahmed was the only bowler to succeed for Oman, taking Head’s wicket. Adam Zampa was awarded Player of the Match for his impressive bowling performance. Despite a disappointing World Cup overall, Australia ended their campaign on a positive note.
