New Zealand has announced the return of fast bowlers Will O’Rourke, Blair Tickner, and Matthew Fisher for their white-ball tour of Bangladesh in April.
O’Rourke is included in the ODI squad after recovering from a back injury. Fisher, who has healed from a shin injury, will join the T20 squad. Tickner, back from an ankle injury, is named in both squads.
“Will, Blair, and Matt have worked hard to return and we’re happy to have them back. With so much Cricket being played, it’s important to have strong bowling options. Their comeback is beneficial for our team,” said New Zealand head coach Rob Walter.
Tom Latham will captain both series as regular captain Mitch Santner is engaged in the IPL. Batter Dean Foxcroft, who was the second-highest run-scorer for Central Districts in the Ford Cup, has also been recalled.
The New Zealand team is set to arrive in Dhaka on April 13. The ODI series begins on April 17, followed by the T20 series starting on April 27.
