India’s opener Sanju Samson, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, and South Africa’s batter Connor Esterhuizen are nominated for the ICC Men’s Player of the Month award for March 2026. For the women’s category, New Zealand captain Amelia Kerr, Australia’s batter Beth Mooney, and South Africa’s seam bowler Ayabonga Khaka are in the running.

Samson showcased remarkable form at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, earning the Player of the Tournament title. Jasprit Bumrah was named Player of the Match in the final. Esterhuizen also impressed with a strong debut T20I series in New Zealand, achieving notable statistics after five T20Is, making his case for the nomination.

Kerr has made significant contributions in ODIs and T20Is against Zimbabwe and South Africa, bolstering her candidacy for a third ICC Player of the Month award. Meanwhile, Mooney excelled in both formats against India and the West Indies. Khaka was the top wicket-taker in the T20I series in New Zealand and delivered a strong performance in their first ODI.
