Rinku Singh revelaed that he has invited Shah Rukh Khan to his wedding but the dates are yet to be confirmed.

Rinku Singh and Priya Saroj – the newest power couple that has been driving social media crazy. People were guessing about their chemistry until their families confirmed their relationship by announcing their engagement. It was a star-studded affair, attended by celebrities from the Indian cricket and political arenas.
The star batter has now revealed that he invited his IPL team – Kolkata Knight Riders – owner and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to his engagement. However, the veteran actor couldn’t make it due to his busy schedule.
“I had a chat with Shah Rukh Sir before my engagement and even invited him. But he couldn’t make it as he was busy with some shooting. Our CEO, Venky (Mysore) sir, was there,” Rinku told News24.
Back in 2023, when Rinku shot to fame after smashing 5 sixes to Gujarat Titans’ Yash Dayal in a crucial IPL face-off, Khan had promised the batter that not only would he attend his wedding but also dance at the function.
Speaking about SRK’s presence, Rinku said he has invited the superstar to the function.
“I have invited Shah Rukh Sir to my wedding as well. Let’s see if he comes,” he added.
When asked about his marriage date, Rinku said, “Hopefully this year. The domestic season will begin soon. People in our family have come up with a date in November 2025. But I’m not sure. Let’s see,” Rinku said.
The Beginning of the Love Story
Rinku revealed that he first started talking to Priya in 2022 when he came across her photo on a fan page. Though he was hesitant to message her on Instagram, he gathered up the courage after seeing Priya like some of his photos.
“It started in 2022 during the COVID years when IPL was in Mumbai. I had a fan page that put up a photo of Priya about some voting in her village. Priya’s sister shoots photos and videos, so I think she had asked the fan page to put up a photo for help. I saw the photo and I liked her. I thought she was perfect for me. I thought about texting her, but then I thought it won’t be right,” Rinku said.
“She liked a couple of my photos. Then I texted her on Instagram, and that’s how it all started. Then we started talking. In a week or two, we were talking regularly, talking before matches. So, I started feeling the love from 2022,” he added.
While Rinku, after proving his worth on the field, has turned into a crucial cog in India’s T20I setup, her would-be wife, Priya Saroj, is a Member of Parliament and a lawyer.
