Indian cricket team wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant, who has been sidelined with a fractured toe on his right foot, shared an image of himself lying in wait as he recovers from the injury he sustained against England.

The injury has sidelined him for at least six weeks. Pant was in excellent form before the injury ruled him out of the fifth and final Test of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, which ended in a 2-2 draw. He began the series with back-to-back centuries in Leeds, making him only the second wicketkeeper-batter to achieve two hundreds in a Test.

He followed up with three half-centuries, including a 54 while batting with a broken foot in Manchester, and finished with 479 runs from seven innings. The Asia Cup 2025 will be played from September 9 to 28 in the UAE, whereas the two-match Test series between India and the West Indies is scheduled to take place between October 2 and 14 in Ahmedabad and Delhi.
