Deepti Sharma rose to fifth in ICC Women’s ODI bowling rankings, Smriti Mandhana kept her top batter spot, and Tazmin Brits surged to sixth.
India all-rounder Deepti Sharma advanced to fifth in the ICC Women’s ODI rankings for bowlers, while Smriti Mandhana maintained her top spot in the batters’ list with a career-high rating after her impressive performance in the series against Australia.
Mandhana scored two centuries in the three-match home series against Australia, who won 2-1 ahead of the World Cup starting on September 30 in Guwahati. She achieved a career-high rating of 818.
Deepti’s two-wicket hauls against Australia moved her up to fifth with 651 points, while South African pacer Ayabonga Khaka climbed to 15th with 548 points after taking 2/36 against Pakistan in Lahore.
India’s Kranti Gaud rose 23 spots to 39th, and England’s Sophie Ecclestone leads the ODI bowlers with 795 points, 85 points ahead of the second-ranked bowler ahead of the World Cup.
Mandhana retained her top position, while Tazmin Brits made a significant move in the batting rankings, rising to sixth with 669 points after consecutive unbeaten hundreds in the Proteas series win in Lahore.
Brits averages 91.85, scoring 643 runs at a strike rate of 94.14 in ODIs in 2025, a dramatic rise from her 73rd rank at the start of September 2023.
Pakistan’s Sidra Amin moved up 10 spots after scoring 121 not out, 122, and 50 not out in the three-match series, achieving a career-high rating of 636 points, now in 13th place, just 19 points from the top 10.
Beth Mooney advanced two spots to third with 727 points, though Mandhana remains the leading batter by a significant margin.
Other notable movers include Australia’s Georgia Voll, up 28 spots to 61st, and Pakistan’s Natalia Pervaiz, who climbed 54 spots outside the top 100 after a half-century in the second ODI.
South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp moved to second in the ICC Women’s ODI all-rounder rankings, surpassing Hayley Matthews with a century and a two-wicket haul in consecutive matches, while Chloe Tryon excelled in spin-friendly conditions with her own two-wicket haul.
Tahlia McGrath also moved up nine spots to 30th with 128 points due to a steady series with the ball.
