Jasprit Bumrah bowled four overs for Team India on Wednesday, September 24, in the Asia Cup 2025 Super 4s match played against Bangladesh at Dubai International Cricket Stadium and picked up 2 wickets for 18 runs in four overs. He opened his wicket account by dismissing Tanzid Hasan Tamim (1) on the second ball of his first over and on the second ball of his last over of the match dismissed Saif Hassan, who made 69 runs from 51 balls.
During the match, which India won by 41 runs, Bollywood actors Bobby Deol and Raghav Juyal were interviewed by Bumrah’s wife, Sanjana Ganesan, who works as a presenter for Sony Sports, and during the conversation, Juyal asked Sanjana to say one of the dialogues of his series for Bumrah, and Sanjana obliged Juyal’s request by saying, “Akkhi duniya ek taraf aur mera Bumrah ek taraf.”
The clip of Sanjana’s on-air remark for Jasprit was shared by Sony LIV on X, and within no time the video went viral on the internet.
For India, apart from Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav picked up 3 wickets for 18 runs in four overs and two Bangladeshi batters were sent back to the pavilion by Varun Chakaravarthy, who conceded 29 runs in four overs.

India and Pakistan have never faced each other in the final of the Asia Cup, but if the Salman Ali Agha-led side manages to get the better of Bangladesh in Dubai on Friday, then for the first time in 41 years, the arch-rivals will face off in the title decider.
