Australia’s top fast bowler, Mitchell Starc, has joined the Delhi Capitals (DC) for the 2026 Indian Premier League (IPL) season. However, it may take time before he plays. The left-arm bowler, who has been recovering from shoulder and elbow injuries, arrived in India on April 25 after finishing his rehab in Australia.
Although he is now part of the team, Starc is not expected to play in the upcoming matches against Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The team plans to slowly reintroduce him, with a possible comeback on May 1 against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
