England women defeated India by six wickets in the 3rd T20I in Taunton, securing the three-match series 2-1 on June 2. This marks England’s second T20I series victory in two weeks as they prepare for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.

For India, this serves as a crucial reminder to address their shortcomings ahead of the ICC event starting on June 12.

Choosing to field first, England started strong by dismissing both Indian openers within the first four overs. Yastika Bhatia scored 32 runs off 18 balls but was run out while attempting a risky run. Jemimah Rodrigues contributed 29 runs off 19 balls before being bowled out by Lauren Bell.
