Bangladesh has revealed its squads for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Australia at home, as well as a one-off Test match in Zimbabwe scheduled for late June.
The team has brought back fast bowlers Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana into the T20 lineup after they were rested during the recent series against New Zealand. Rana is in good form, having taken four wickets in the first ODI against Australia in Mirpur. Bangladesh currently leads the ODI series 2-0, with one match remaining.
Taskin will be appearing in his first T20I since October 2025, when he played against West Indies. He is an important player for the team, standing as the third-highest wicket-taker for Bangladesh in T20Is, with 106 wickets in 86 matches.
For the Test squad, Bangladesh has selected white-ball specialist Towhid Hridoy. Although he has played 52 ODIs and 59 T20Is, Hridoy has not yet competed in Test matches. In his first-class career, he has played only 16 matches but boasts a solid average of 44.68.
The T20I series against Australia begins on Wednesday, June 17, just three days after the conclusion of the ODI series. The team will head to Africa on June 23 for the one-off Test starting on June 28.
