Stuart Broad, the legendary England fast bowler, has named his best Test XI. His selection criteria were to include only players he has faced directly on the pitch. While the list features some renowned names, there are a few surprising omissions, including only one Indian player.

With over 600 wickets in Test Cricket, Broad is recognized as one of the top bowlers of his era. He chose his teammates based on those he has played against.

For his opening pair, Broad selected South African captain Graeme Smith and wicketkeeper-batter Kumar Sangakkara. At number three, he went with Australian batsman Ricky Ponting. Surprisingly, he left out the famous Sachin Tendulkar, instead opting for Virat Kohli to fill the number four spot.
