South African Cricket star Dale Steyn showcased his skills in the World Legends Pro T20 League 2026, playing for Maharashtra Tycoons against Delhi Warriors on January 30. While his team lost a close match, Steyn’s unique celebration attracted much attention.
Steyn made an early impact by taking out Delhi’s top order. He bowled a sharp delivery to wicketkeeper-batter Yogesh Takawale, who was dismissed for just one run after being trapped in front of the stumps. Steyn then amusingly celebrated by lifting the stumps and limping away, turning a serious moment into a lighthearted one.
The fast bowler quickly struck again, removing Gurkeerat Singh Mann for eight runs, with Praveen Gupta taking the catch. Despite Steyn’s efforts to keep the game tight, the Delhi Warriors successfully chased down the target.
