India will co-host the ICC T20 World Cup with Sri Lanka, marking a return after ten years. The tournament’s schedule has been released, featuring five Indian cities: Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, and Chennai, while Sri Lanka will include Colombo and Kandy as venues. Delhi’s Arun Jaitley Stadium, a historic Cricket ground, will be a focal point for the games.

Previously known as Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium, this iconic venue is one of the oldest in India, hosting various cricket matches across formats. With a capacity of around 55,000, it has seen eight T20 internationals featuring India, where the national team has been highly successful.

The stadium is also home to the IPL team, Delhi Capitals. The pitch tends to favor teams batting second, especially during night matches due to dew conditions. During the T20 World Cup, six matches will be held at Arun Jaitley Stadium, promising thrilling matchups in India’s capital.
