England captain Harry Brook has won the toss and chosen to bat first against Nepal in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026.

Toss Decision – Captain’s Comments

“We will bat first because the pitch will perform well in the first innings. We hope to defend our total in the second. We have two pacers in the squad. Our recent win in Sri Lanka boosted our confidence. We respect every opponent,” Harry Brook stated.

Nepal captain Rohit Paudel preferred to bowl first if he had won the toss.

“We aimed to bowl first based on the conditions. Chasing is a favorable strategy for us. We enjoy slow tracks that benefit our spinners. Since this is a used wicket, playing all games in Mumbai is an advantage,” he explained.
