Rahul Dravid, a legend from Karnataka, stands out as the captain with three double centuries in Ranji Trophy history. On February 16, during the first semifinal between Karnataka and Uttarakhand, Karnataka’s captain Devdutt Paddikal made a significant mark by scoring a record double hundred, becoming only the third captain from Karnataka to achieve this feat.

Former captain Mayank Agarwal has also scored two double centuries, holding the top record of 249 runs against Saurashtra in 2023. Currently, Devdutt is close to breaking this record, batting at 232 off 327 balls.

Rahul Dravid made history as the first captain to score a double century for Karnataka, achieving this in the 1998 season against Uttar Pradesh and Hyderabad. He secured his third double century in 2010 against Uttar Pradesh.
